Blade Scraper

I designed this chisel in response to a phenomenon I noticed when I worked at a Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwich Shop. Employees, often managers, complained that the process of using and cleaning their deli slicers pulled them away from their employees and caused unnecessary physical strain.

I worked with a local Jimmy John's manager to work through an iterative design process, learning about the process of cleaning and maintaining deli slicers in order to develop an effective tool to aid in the process.
