I designed this project to explore the possibilities of mascot-based branding in food packaging. I have always found the mist of cheese particles in stuffed olives off-putting as a consumer, so I created mascots in an endeavor to personify the cheese within the olives into something cute and appealing.
This series of designs focused on modifying the mascots on each jar label to reflect the tone and flavors contained within. I also used this project as an opportunity to explore fun flavor combinations, like nasturtium (and edible flower) and garlic.
